The Day Everything Changed

For a long time, violent tragedy was something I only hoped I would never have to face. I never truly understood the depth of the burden families carry until I buried my own child. Losing my daughter was the hardest trial of my life, but even in that darkness, I realized I was one of the lucky ones. Because I had the support of my family, my church, and my faith, I was never left to face the aftermath alone.

A Hidden Crisis

As I began to help others, I discovered a heartbreaking reality: many families have no support system at all. They are often left to scrub away the blood and debris of their own loved ones’ passing. Beyond the emotional toll, the financial burden is often insurmountable. Survivors are frequently forced to live among red-stained sheetrock and missing carpet—permanent, physical reminders of the worst day of their lives.

The Invisible Danger

In my mission to alleviate this stress, I learned that the danger isn't just psychological—it’s biological. Without proper training on bloodborne pathogens, grieving families and well-meaning neighbors who step in to help are putting their lives at risk. While healthcare workers and first responders have strict safety protocols, families are often left with no education on the infectious diseases that can linger in a home. Too often, those who try to do the right thing end up becoming deathly ill.

Restoration Angel exists to ensure that no family is ever left alone in their greatest time of need. We provide the education, resources, and professional restoration necessary to protect survivors from further physical and psychological trauma.
